The Gran Teatre del Liceu presentsLa gata perduda, a new opera co-created with the Raval neighborhood. This is the first production resulting from the 'Opera Prima' program, the Liceu's line of community creation, which has the premise of using art as a pillar for the transformation of people, as well as with the desire for social inclusion in through culture.

About 70 associations and institutions in the Raval have been part of the project, with the close collaboration of the Fundació Tot Raval and the complicity of the Ciutat Vella District

Playwright Victoria Szpunberg has written thebook based on a extensive bibliographic research on the neighborhood and about twenty interviews conducted with the Raval neighborhood

The composition of the work is in charge of Arnau Tordera I and draws from the musical realities of the neighborhood . The score will be conducted by conductor Alfons Reverté with musicians from the Liceu Superior Music Conservatory and the Musicians' Workshop, amongothers. The cast includes Pau Armengol, Joan Sáez, Rocío Martínez, Marta Infante, Albert Casals, Óscar Peñarroya and Dianne Ico.
